International Student Registration Process Admission Process

 Documents Required for the Admission of International Students
 
- Apply through the following website (https://apply.khu.ac.ir/login) at Kharazmi University (in Persian or English) and send it along with the following required documents to: infokhu.ac.ir
- A high-quality scanned photo,

- A high-quality scan of your passport,
- For admission to Ph.D., Master's, and Bachelor's degrees: Scanning the following translated documents with the transcript of records (approved by the Iranian embassy in your country) is required as follows:
1- Master's and Bachelor’s degrees. (For Ph.D. applicants)
2- Bachelor's degree. (For Master's degree applicants)
3- Diploma. (For undergraduate applicants)
4- Evidence of adequate Persian language proficiency, if available (for students studying in Persian).
5- Evidence of adequate English language proficiency, if available. (For students studying in English).

6- Your CV (Persian Sample)(English Sample) must be in Persian or English (mentioning the email address and telephone number of the applicant is necessary).

International Student Admission Process
 

Applicant: The applicant submits educational documents and selects the field of study and academic level at the university by sending the documents to the email of the Admissions and International Students Services at infokhu.ac.ir within the specified deadline.
Admissions Office: The office reviews the applicant's submitted information and documents by checking the requested field of study with the educational records, verifies identity documents, and prepares and sends a letter to the respective dean of faculty within 2 to 3 working days.
Faculty Admissions Unit:
  • Dean of Faculty: The dean of faculty sends the applicant's admission request to the head of the relevant department within 1 to 7 working days.
  • Head of Educational Department: The head of the department reviews the applicant's academic status, discusses the case with colleagues in the department's academic council, and announces approval or rejection of the application via the Dean of Faculty to the International Relations Office within one week.
International Relations Office: The IRO head sends the admission approval or rejection received from the faculty to the Admissions and International Students Services staff.
The IRO staff notifies the international applicants and guides them in registering on the Student Affairs Organization website (
www.saorg.ir) to obtain a tracking code for clearance to study in Iran and sends the code to the Admissions and International Students Services staff via email for final confirmation within 20 to 30 days.
After final approval by the Student Affairs Organization and confirmation of clearance for the applicant's study, it notifies the applicants and guides them to send the visa form via email. The maximum duration to apply for a student visa must be before the end of your second semester.
Student Affairs Organization: It approves the applicant's tracking code and refers to the relevant authorities for the final general qualification assessment. Upon receiving the visa forms from the university, it proceeds with obtaining a student visa in the applicant's country of residence and notifies the university liaison of the applicant’s visa receipt via email within 30 to 60 days.

Tuition Payment Procedures:

  1. Payment of 40,000,000 rial document review fee at the Admissions and International Students Services Office.
  2. If the student is accepted by the respective faculty, they are required to register and pay the tuition as follows:
a) Payment of five levels of Persian language instruction on admission.
b) Payment of one semester's tuition fee according to the tuition fee listed on the Kharazmi University website: https://B2n.ir/a02591.

Important Admission Notes:
  1. If the student withdraws from studies, the semester tuition will not be refunded under any circumstances.
  2. Temporary admission is valid for only one week, and if tuition is not paid by the student, the admission will be canceled.
  3. Tuition for the first semester cannot be paid in installments. For subsequent semesters, installment payments may be allowed by the academic deputy.
  4. The accuracy of the submitted educational documents is the responsibility of the student, and in case of any discrepancies, the student will be expelled and fined.
