This meeting was held on Monday, June 15, with the presence of Dr. Saeed Habiba, Deputy Minister and Head of the Organization of Student Affairs; Dr. Mahmoud Mehrdad Shokrieh, President of Iran University of Science and Technology; Dr. Abbas Ghanbari Baghestan, Deputy of Scholarships and International Students Affairs; and Dr. Jafari, Director General of International Students at the Organization of Student Affairs. Members of the National Working Group for International Student Recruitment from various universities evaluated the performance of universities regarding international students during the recent war.
Post-war developments, the opportunities and challenges created in the field of international student recruitment, new policymaking, and the importance of marketing and identifying new target countries for international student recruitment were the main axes of this meeting.
