A meeting was held virtually on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, with the aim of reviewing the capacities and opportunities for the development of scientific and international cooperation between Kharazmi University and Central Asia University.
In this meeting, which was attended by Dr. Tohai, Director of the International Relations Center; Dr. Shams, Head of the Office of International Cooperation and Partnerships; Dr. Parvizi and Ardestani, Head and Deputy of Education, Research, and International Affairs of the Faculty of Architecture, as well as Dr. Shokrollah, Head of the Faculty of Architecture; Dr. Shakib, faculty member of Central Asia University; Dr. Elmira, Group Director of the Faculty of Architecture; and Dr. Behzadkhan, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, the parties, while introducing the capabilities and educational and research capacities of the two universities, discussed and reviewed the grounds for cooperation in educational and research fields, exchange of professors and students, holding joint scientific events, and developing international programs. The parties, while introducing the capabilities and educational and research capacities of the two universities, emphasized the importance of expanding scientific and international interactions in areas of common interest. Continuing the session, Kharazmi University’s initial proposal for holding the “International Autumn School of Architecture,” focusing on the cultural, historical, and architectural capacities of the region’s countries, was presented. This program is designed with the aim of creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, scientific experiences, and the expansion of educational and research cooperation in the field of architecture and cultural heritage.
The attendees of the meeting welcomed the proposed ideas and emphasized the necessity of continuing consultations and joint follow-ups to finalize the grounds for cooperation. It was decided that after reviewing the submitted proposals and carrying out the necessary coordination, executive actions for the development of bilateral cooperation will be put on the agenda.
This meeting was held in line with Kharazmi University’s policies in developing international scientific cooperation and expanding academic interactions with reputable regional and international higher education institutions.
