Vice President for Administrative, Financial, and Resource Development Meets with International Relations Center Team

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, the Vice President for Administrative, Financial, and Resource Development, Dr. Elahi, met with the staff of the International Relations Center to enhance collaboration across departments and recognize the team’s dedication over the past two years. The meeting was held at the center’s office.
The session began with a warm welcome from Dr. Azimi, Director of the International Relations Center. He provided a comprehensive report on the center’s achievements and initiatives, highlighting the hard work and commitment of its staff. He also expressed his sincere gratitude for their contributions to the university's success. Dr. Elahi emphasized the vital role of international engagement in advancing the university’s strategic goals and global reputation. He commended the team for their exceptional efforts, particularly in successfully attracting international students, and reiterated the importance of their work in elevating the university’s global standing. During the meeting, participants shared their ideas and suggestions for enhancing the university’s performance in international collaborations.
Dr. Elahi, while expressing gratitude for the efforts of the colleagues at the International Relations Office, addressed the most important notable issues related to this center. In addition to answering colleagues' questions, he discussed the key administrative and financial actions taken to fulfill commitments related to the recruitment of international students. He also mentioned the ongoing efforts and assured that the commitments related to international students will be pursued and fulfilled as soon as possible.
The event concluded with a ceremony where certificates of appreciation were presented to each staff member in recognition of their outstanding efforts. The session reflected the university’s commitment to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment. With continued backing from university leadership and the dedication of the International Relations Center team, the university aims to further expand its international student recruitment and strengthen global academic and research partnerships, advancing its mission and solidifying its position on the international stage.
